Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe.

What we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we receive: your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to share it), business name (optional), selected plan, and your message. That's it. We don't use cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics tools of any kind.
Why we're allowed to use it
We handle your data because you chose to send it to us — that's your consent under EU data protection law (GDPR). If we start working together, we also need your details to deliver the project. In some cases, we may keep records to meet legal or accounting requirements.
What we do with it
We use your contact details only to get back to you, put together a quote, and build your website. We will never sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing or any unrelated purpose.
How we keep it safe
Your data is stored on encrypted servers within the European Union. Invoices and accounting records are kept for 8 years as required by Hungarian accounting law (Act C of 2000, §169). Other business correspondence and project data is kept for the duration of our working relationship, plus up to 5 years afterwards. After that, it's permanently deleted.
Services we rely on
Our website is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com), and we use Resend (resend.com) to deliver emails from our contact form. Both providers process data on our behalf under GDPR-compliant agreements. All connections use HTTPS encryption. Vercel keeps standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, page visited), which are automatically deleted after 30 days. Your information is never shared with anyone else.
Your rights
Under EU law (GDPR), you can: ask to see what data we have about you; correct anything that's wrong; ask us to delete your data; limit or object to how we use it; or request a copy in a portable format. You can also withdraw your consent at any time — this won't affect anything we did before the withdrawal. Just email us at budapestlabs@gmail.com and we'll get back to you within 30 days.
